Total Football Academy - Camp Organiser
We are a supplemental coaching, seasonal camps & 1-on-1s business operating in Wicklow & Wexford.
Eligible Ages
Players aged from 12 to 15 (on day 1 of the camp) are eligible to participant in our June Development Camp.
Dates, Duration & Venue
The June Development Camp will take place from Monday June 22nd to Thursday June 25th in Travers Insurances Park (Y14 XV74), taking place daily from run from 10am to 1pm.
Parent / Guardian & Camp Staff Communication
A WhatsApp group will be setup (using parent / guardian contact information supplied in registration form) & used for ongoing communication throughout the week. Parents / Guardians will be individually informed promptly by the head coach on their player where updates on the individual player are necessary or issues arise.
Additional Communication
We may also share promotional content and messaging with parents / guardians (across email and / or WhatsApp) in relation to our other programmes & events from time to time.
Responsibility
The camp head coach is responsible for the management & organisation of the week's football activities.
Player Abilities
The development camp is open to players of all abilities and all club backgrounds.
Programme Purpose
This programme is designed to give players aged 12 to 16 detailed, structured & focussed coaching within a 4-day morning-sessions programme. Therefore, participating players should arrive with a view to really engage within the sessions, work hard and (most importantly) enjoy daily football practices & tournaments in the sunshine.
Behaviour
Players must follow the instruction of camp staff. If persistent and / or serious misbehaviour is occurring with a player, the player may be suspended from the camp.
Leaving the Venue
Players are not permitted to leave the camp venue at any point during the camp's hours. Parent / Guardian consent must be provided to players if leaving camp early, along with notification to the head coach prior to their departure.
Footwear & Attire
Players should wear attire suitable to play & train in, which must include football boots & shin guards. Rain jackets should also be brought in the event of rain being forecasted.
Break, Lunch & Hydration
Players will have a lunch break during each day at approx. 11.30am. Players should bring a packed lunch to camp daily. Players should also bring enough water to last the full camp day.
Sun Cream
Players should wear & bring sun cream to camp daily.
Medical & Allergy Information
Parents / Guardians are asked to notify the head coach (on Day 1 of camp) of any medical, injury or allergy issues regarding their player.
Medications & Inhalers
Players should bring any medications and / or inhalers that they need for camp daily. Parents / Guardians are asked to notify the head coach (on Day 1 of camp) of any medications / inhalers taken or carried by the player during camp.
Football for All (FFA) - Additional Needs Information
Parents / Guardians are asked to notify the Head Coach (on Day 1 of camp) of any additional needs that the player has.
Player Injuries, Accidents, Illnesses & Incidents during Camp
All minor injuries, accidents, illnesses & incidents will be notified promptly to parents / guardians and treated by the head coach during camp. Emergency services will be contacted immediately in the event of major injuries, accidents, illnesses or incidents to players.
Photography & Videography
A professional sports photographer & videographer will be present during camp to capture highlights & action shots from the camp's football activities. A recap & highlight video will be created from each camp and shared to parents through the WhatsApp group chat. These photos and videos may also appear through social media, our website, or on printed promotional material.
Garda Vetting, Child Safeguarding Statement , Health & Safety Statement & Risk Assessment
All staff within the organisation maintain up-to-date FAI garda vetting & safeguarding. Our child safeguarding statement, health & safety statement and risk assessment can be requested by parents / guardians at any time.
Insurance
All camps are covered by public liability insurance through Total Football Academy.
Lost or Stolen Items
Neither Total Football Academy or the host club will be held responsible for items lost or stolen during the camp. It is highly recommended to leave any valuable items belonging to players at home during camp.
General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) Compliance
All data provided by parents / guardians to the organisation is held strictly under current general data protection regulations.
Payment Methods
Camp registrations may be paid for through either cash or online payment. Cash payments are made in full at sign-in on Day 1 of camp. Online payments are made using accepted credit / debit cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay upon the online registration form's completion.
Online Payments
The same payment method selected within the online registration form must also be selected & used at the online checkout stage (directly after the online registration section). Failure to do so may result in your booking be voided.
Camp Cancellation (by Parent / Guardian)
Total Football Academy will not refund camp registration fees where the parent / guardian has cancelled their player's place on the camp within 24 hours prior to sign-in on Day 1 of camp. Cancellations by parents / guardians prior to this 24 hour period will result in a full refund.
